Culturally, Bulawayo is very important. It is home to the Natural History Museum of Zimbabwe, the Railway Museum, and the National Art Gallery, which preserve the country’s history and culture. Most people in Bulawayo belong to the Ndebele ethnic group, but many other communities also live there peacefully.
Bulawayo is surrounded by famous tourist attractions such as Matobo National Park and Khami Ruins, which attract visitors from around the world.
